Please contact our hotline 0909 918 860, for best assistance.Let me share with you, our Ola Hale building was once a modern-style house in Saigon in the ‘90s, during its long life, the remaining value is immeasurable. To preserve the spirit of history, we decided to retain as much of the old house as possible, while also creating new spaces and adding details that celebrate Vietnam and evoke the essence of Hawai’i. We hope you can feel the blended breaths of the past and present, as well as the vibrant Vietnamese and Hawaiian culture here.
Welcoming You Home
Did you know in Vietnam, it is customary to reserve the first floor of one’s home for welcoming guests with tea and refreshments? At Ola Hale, we have dedicated our first floor to honor this tradition. Our bar offers welcome food and greeting teas, allowing you to experience the ‘ohana spirit and feel at home. We welcome you as a part of our family.
Plantation V Iced Tea
Plantation V Iced Tea is one of the most refreshing and signature drinks in Ola Hale and originates from the homeland of Hawai’i. As a pride of us Hawaiians, plantation tea is a staple of the Hawaiian hospitality culture. This “welcome tea” encapsulates the Hawaiian hospitality and is a symbolic gesture of welcoming a valued guest to our home.
Enjoy the day with delightful smoothies and juices!
Each drink is especially crafted with a harmonious blend of Vietnamese fresh fruits and vegetables. In the Mother of Dragon and Mango Tango, you can feel the soft taste of Binh Thuan dragon fruits and southern mango sweetness melt in your mouth, while a selection of juices, such as Vitamin Bomb and Green Therapy showcase the pure essence of nature's bounty.
Awake your body and soul!
Drinks from vegetables and fruits will recharge your energy, and coffee will make your day more exciting and focused, especially coffee from the highlands of Vietnam. You know, we love the coffee from our hometown, and we also love the taste of natural foods.
Gathering in Joy
Now walk up the stairs to the 1st floor, where we celebrate nature's ability to coexist. Rattan panels on the walls are inspired by traditional Vietnamese fishing tools and homewares like Nơm, Thời, or Thúng. The ceiling also features a system of cloth appliances that represent the waves. Together, they create a warm and cozy atmosphere that reminds us of home.
The dining hall’s large window overlooks the Tan Dinh Church
In this dining space, please make yourself at home and feel free to call all the foods and beverages that show off your personality. We welcome you to be your best self.
From local ingredients
We’re proud to have collected ingredients from many local families throughout Vietnam, such as Cà Mau’s shrimps - the most famous aquaculture area in Vietnam. We choose to support locals and seek to play a positive role in fostering growth in the local community, while preserving the rich traditions.
Signature OLA Ahi Poke
Poke /pou-kei/ in Hawaiian means “slice” or “cut into pieces”. OLA’s Signature - Ahi Poke Bowl is how we celebrate Hawaiian culture with the highlights from Vietnam’s nature such as pumpkin seeds, Western-South Vietnam pineapples, and of course, the fatty taste of Gia Lai avocado – it’s freeing, welcoming, diverse, and harmonious. It is always so satisfying!
Loco Moco
Wagyu beef patty, Nori rice, Panko egg, Salad
Originating in Hilo, Hawai’i in the 1940s, it consists of a bed of rice, and a hamburger patty, bringing together diverse ingredients that are all beloved in a cuisine. Together, they create a dish more incredible than their individual deliciousness.
1, 2, 3, cheers!
The pleasant sound of beer bottles touching each other helps to make the atmosphere more climactic. Beer is a nice and quick choice for a cheerful gathering with family or friends. This is our beverage of choice for a dinner with Hawaiian signature plates like Loco Moco or Hapu'upu'u. ‘Tis the time!
Elevating the Mood
If you reach Ola Hale Bar during the morning to noon period, why not start your day with a sip of fresh juice or cocktail on the balcony, where it is shaded and beautified with a pure white over-42-year-old bougainvillea tree. Embraced by the lush greenery and majestic sea, we strive to extend our love for nature wherever we go, just like the Hawaiians have done for centuries. Let’s have your body and soul nourished at Ola Hale.
Rooftop – Open Your Eyes, Widen Your Heart
At Ola Hale, we are blessed with an abundance of outdoor space. We have especially given much love and attention to our balcony and terrace where our guests may enjoy the cool breeze and a perfect unobstructed view of the beautiful Tan Dinh “pink” Church.
Tan Dinh Punch
Bacardi carta blanca, Strawberry, Cointreau, Banana, Green grape vinegar, Milk wash, Butterfly peas
Capturing the perfection of Tan Dinh Church under the sunset. Based on milk clarification technique, we created a glass of Hawaii’s mixed culture-inspired cocktail blended with rainbow color ingredients. Strawberry for Red, Orange for orange, Banana for yellow, Green grape vinegar for green, a touch of rich fermentation culture in Vietnam, and butterfly peas tea layer for the blue and beautiful sky above Tan Dinh Church.
Starry Night
Cognac, Frangelico, Campari, Pomegranate, Lavender smoke
Counting the shiny stars with an aromatic nightcap. Imagine that warm hints of toasted hazelnuts transport you to a picnic, where rich, lavender-scented smoke surrounds your mind and soothes a long day.
Hoabinhian Rhapsody
Bombay sapphire, Absinthe, Mac khen pepper, Tamarind makgeolli, Vanilla ice cream, Soy sauce
The Rhum Rhapsody cocktail is our take on the first tiki cocktail. Powerful herbaceous and spiciness from Absinthe and Mac khen pepper infused Gin, Earthy citrus from Tamarind, Funky fermented rice wine (Makgeolli) and a touch of soy sauce, and creamy sweetness from French vanilla ice cream. All in one tiki glass to embrace Vietnamese culture in the name of the first Vietnam immigration, Hoabinhian.
Saigon Colada
Lotus-infused Grey goose Vodka, Mango, Lime, Cashewnut, Islay whisky
Inspired by the atmosphere of Vietnam, Saigon Colada offers a tropical taste with hints of mango and lime. It also has a floral touch with a slight bitterness from lotus leaf. The creamy notes are balanced, and there is a fun twist with a hint of smoky flavors that bring to mind the bustling motorbike rides of Vietnam.
Cheesy Wagyu Nacho
A sip of cocktail, a bite of Nacho. It’s like you’re dipping yourself in a creamy pool, then catch a soft pillow of Wagyu beef and have a bite slowly. Now you know you're crispy like a nacho chip because you're already melted at the first bite.
